Rhino Wreckage

It's crazy, it took me about a year to finish this piece of scenery, and a month to get around to take photos of it. Alas, it's done! I can't wait to use it on the tabletop.

Adding some veggies…

Some more vegetation needed, I just have to wait for the field grass (the longer grassthingies) to dry and then add some more tufts around them.
Then it's just blending the ground a little more (the patches) and after that... it's ready for the table!

New vs. Old

Lifter came over and we did some airbrush work on his rhinos, so I took the opportunity to make a before/after shot. Added some MIG pigments and stuff to the rhino since the latest photo. And the cats managed to send it flying, so one of the top hatches has to be reglued... -.-

The rhino wreckage, painting...

Finally started painting the wrecked rhino scenery piece I've been having around unpainted for a year or so.

Modulation (dot technique) and first weathering with oils.
