Da deff dread!

Magnetizing this one is a b*tch. Really like the model though. Looks really orky and fearsome compared to the old metal one.

New vs. Old

Lifter came over and we did some airbrush work on his rhinos, so I took the opportunity to make a before/after shot. Added some MIG pigments and stuff to the rhino since the latest photo. And the cats managed to send it flying, so one of the top hatches has to be reglued... -.-

Killakan #2

Second kan. The red makes him walk a little faster.
I'm kinda in love with the grass from Woodland Scenics. Makes it look a little more real. Tufts from Silflor. And then some GF9 static grass (straw).

The rhino wreckage, painting...

Finally started painting the wrecked rhino scenery piece I've been having around unpainted for a year or so.

Modulation (dot technique) and first weathering with oils.

Tabletop quality+
I like the nobz, they're not cartoony in the same sense as the regular orks. It's all about killin' stuff. And maybe stompin'. But mostly killin'!

And that completes the slugga boyz. Now they're in full numbers and have a leader. Feels nice.

Rollin' rollin' rollin'

Fun project. Went a little overboard with the MIG pigments though, but hey... the orks probably don't have a drive-through wash. Or at least that isn't on the top priority for a mek when he can build stompin' things!
